Letter from camp - Camp Zeke - Sleepaway Summer Camp

It truly takes a village

Dear Friends:

So many Camp Zeke families and friends have taken a significant philanthropic interest in Camp Zeke. We are so grateful for your support!

To those in a position to do so, please give generously to support Camp Zeke: Give Online now; Send a Check; Email Us, or Call Us. It warms our hearts to know that the camp’s mission – of celebrating healthy, active living in a joyful Jewish community – is as important to you as it is to us.

Camp Zeke opened for its first summer in 2014 and has grown tremendously since that time. This past summer, we served over 500 campers and staff along with thousands of retreat participants. You can see our other accomplishments since 2014 here. Our growth is a direct result of your faith in us, your generous support, and the combined multi-million dollar funding commitments of our foundation partners.

Our campers, staff, and retreat guests make friendships for life with like minded peers, experience a warm values-based community, come away with new cooking and fitness skills, relax and rejuvenate in a serene mountain setting, and gain a renewed sense of their Jewish identity. Our beautiful site is also the perfect place to memorialize a loved one’s name.

Since launching camp in 2014, we have given over a million dollars in scholarships and financial aid to lower income families, re-opened the legendary Block and Hexter Retreat Center, renovated our entire facility, been accepted into highly-competitive capacity building programs, and have had a meaningful Jewish impact on thousands of people. Read about our projects and funding opportunities here.

It truly takes a village and we are beyond grateful for your support, engagement, and dedication. Together we have endless opportunities to enrich Jewish life and enhance our community’s health, joy, and togetherness. Please Give Online now, Send a Check, or Email Us or Call Us to make a pledge or discuss options. Camp Zeke is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so your donation is tax deductible.

With sincere gratitude,

Lisa & Isaac
