Love camp?

Want all your friends to come? Become an ambassador! The ambassador program is an opportunity for our families to spread the word about camp in their communities.

Here are the five ways that our ambassadors tell their communities about camp:

  • STEP ONE: Like our Facebook page and share your favorite post along with your own note about camp

Here’s an example of something you might write:

We’re so excited for Camp Zeke this summer! It’s an overnight camp in the Pocono Mountains where kids celebrate healthy, active living though cooking, fitness, sports, arts, and joyful Judaism. I’d love to answer your have questions and tell you all about the camp! You can also see more at campzeke.org or just email the director, Isaac, at isaac@campzeke.org.

  • STEP TWO: Send an email to your friends

Here’s an example of something you might write:

I wanted to let you know about an amazing overnight camp that we’re attending this summer! It’s called Camp Zeke and it’s located in the Pocono Mountains. At Camp Zeke, kids celebrate healthy, active living through cooking, fitness, sports, arts and joyful Judaism.

You can read much more at campzeke.org. You can also reach out to the director, Isaac, by calling 212-913-9783 or emailing isaac@campzeke.org. Of course, I’d also love to tell you all about the camp! If you’re still thinking about summer options, just be in touch. Maybe the kids can attend camp together!

  • STEP THREE: Send an email to your school or synagogue listserv

Here’s an example of something you might write:

  • STEP FOUR: Organize a home visit. We’ll come out and present about camp!

Many of our ambassador families like to invite friends to their home for an in-person meeting with a Camp Zeke staff member. We’ll come out to you, do a little presentation about camp, show pictures and videos, answer everyone’s questions, and explain the whole experience.

Host a home visit! Just be in touch with Rachel by calling 212-913-9783 or emailing rachel@campzeke.org, and she’ll help plan all the details.

  • STEP FIVE? Do you have a unique idea for spreading the word about camp?

We’re all ears! Just call or email Rachel at 212-913-9783 or rachel@campzeke.org and we’ll be glad to help make your idea a reality!

What do ambassadors get?

In addition to our eternal love and gratitude, we thank ambassadors with a $50 discount to camp every time a friend registers as a result of one of the outreach efforts listed above. If you refer ten friends, we’ll give you a free week of camp!
