Packing list - Camp Zeke - Sleepaway Summer Camp

Packing for camp

Sure we have a list of socks and bathing suits and sweatshirts (that stuff is below!), but in addition to the basics, Zeke campers typically bring a few special things:

  • A blue and a yellow outfit for our much-anticipated camp Olympics – you never know which team you’ll end up on!
  • Blue and white outfits for spirited Friday night Shabbat celebrations.
  • Red, white, and blue garb if you’ll be at camp during the 4th of July! Did we mention there are fireworks??
  • A crazy outfit for Zumba raves (think neon, footie pajamas, capes, tutus, and morph suits)!
  • Your favorite pajamas for lazy day (yaaaawn).
  • Your favorite cookbook, for inspiration during culinary arts!

Read on for a list of everything you should bring to camp! The weather can get a little chilly at night, so be sure  to pack warm clothing. We have athletic equipment like yoga mats, tennis racquets, and baseball gloves,  but you can also bring your own!

On opening day, once emptied, all camper luggage is removed from the cabins and safely placed in storage. No suitcases, duffle bags, or plastic drawers (except those plastic drawers that fit under the bed) remain in the cabins as extra storage for campers.  Please label each piece of luggage  (including sleeping bags and hand luggage) with two sturdy name tags.

We provide laundry services once a week. Each camper has his or her personal clothing and linens washed  weekly.

Please label everything with your camper’s name!
