After canceling the summer of 2020, we faced an incredibly difficult financial situation. We had already spent nearly half of our annual budget to prepare for the summer, and we never imagined not being able to open.
Despite the financial challenges of COVID, we were able to ensure that every family asking for a refund received one. This deepened the trust that is at the foundation of our relationship with families.
These events obviously had a significant negative financial impact on the organization. Thankfully, the community’s philanthropic support continues to help with camp’s recovery. To date, we have secured over $1,000,000 in funding and pledges to support our COVID relief efforts, from individual families, foundations, and friends of camp.
We are still raising additional funds for this purpose to ensure that camp comes out of the pandemic on strong footing for decades to come. Please get in touch if you would like to assist with our COVID response efforts.
