Office

This is where our dedicated and caring office staff receive parent phone calls and emails, distribute camper mail, greet visitors to camp, and plan the logistics of our amazing summers!

Our office team consists of multi-year returning staff members, many of whom are parents themselves. They promptly and meticulously address all requests from our families and work hard to make sure all interactions with camp are a completely seamless! Read our staff bios

Flagpole

Our flagpole is camp’s central gathering point. We meet there every morning to raise the flag, every evening to lower the flag, and before every activity to regroup for the next activity block.

We have a policy called 100% supervision 100% of the time: That means campers never go anywhere by themselves, and there’s always a staff member present. “Meet at the flagpole!” is a common refrain heard around camp for that reason.

Cafe Zeke

This is where we serve our delicious meals. Campers sit with their bunks and choose from delicious options at every meal.

Open Pavillion

Our open pavilion is centrally located in the middle of main campus. On any given day, you might see campers doing yoga there, having a bunk meeting at which counselors are giving out values bracelets, or campers having snack in between all the action.

Covered Pavilion

Our beautiful lakeside pavilion is the site of so many programs throughout the summer! Olympic teams have strategy meetings there, campers relax in the shade during downtimes, we have fitness sessions and martial arts lessons by the water, we enjoy snacks there, and so much more!

Waterfront

Campers love to dive into the pristine waters of Hickory Lake! You can swim, take out a canoe or stand-up paddleboard, try water skiing or tubing, jump on the water trampoline or relax by the shore. Read more about our waterfront program here.

Martial Arts

Campers can learn wrestling, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and of course, Krav Maga! Read more about martial arts at camp.

Hiking Trail

Connect with nature and discover the hidden treasures that lie off the beaten path! You’ll explore the beautiful trails around camp and get to know all the fascinating plants, trees, and animals that live around us.

Fire Pit

Every night, we have an all-camp evening program. One of our camper favorites is campfire night! Our songleaders lead amazing song sessions and campers roast marshmallows and make s’mores, as budding lifelong friendships deepen by the warm light of the fire.

Teaching Kitchens

Campers will not only enjoy made-from-scratch meals from Café Zeke, but they’ll have the opportunity to design and prepare gourmet meals too! Whether you’ve never stirred a pot in your life or dream of opening your own restaurant, Zeke’s dedicated teaching kitchen provides an unrivaled opportunity to learn recipes and cooking techniques.

Canteen

In addition to our amazing meals and three snacks a day, we have a full canteen. Campers can grab a smoothie, fresh fruit, or some trail mix and hang out with friends while getting energized for their next activity.

Art Room

Our campers enjoy a wide selection of arts programming, ranging from painting,  drawing, clay work, and jewelry-design to traditional camp crafts including string and gimp bracelets, tie-dye, and of course, collaborating with teammates to make Olympic banners, which are permanently displayed in our dining room.

Theater

Campers who love the stage will have opportunities to perform in our talent show, dance in a recital, and display their skills in a huge circus performance. We create many opportunities for campers to showcase all the things they learned and created in dance, circus, music, and fine arts.

Gaga Pits

A traditional camp game and camper favorite, our campers love to play gaga! Read about all out activities here.

Camper Housing

You’ll live in a beautiful, air-conditioned cabin. We renovated all of them within the past few years. They have hotel mattresses, new beds and private bathrooms. Each bunk has about 12-15 campers and 3 counselors. Read more about our facility.

Pool

In addition to our beautiful lake, we have a heated outdoor pool! Our younger campers have regular swim instruction so they learn to navigate the water with comfort, grace, and confidence. For older campers and experienced swimmers, we have swim electives in which they can work on techniques from kicks, strokes and breathing to starts, turns, and balance.

Basketball is one of our most popular sports, and campers even have the option of competing against the camps all around us!
